Job Description
Glasgow City Council is pleased to present this exciting opportunity to join our innovative and forward thinking Sustainability service and become part of our efforts in tackling the climate emergency in Glasgow and contributing to the City's position as a global leader in the fight against climate change. The post holder will be part of the Sustainability Team and will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of innovative renewable energy projects related to the decarbonisation of the Council estate, in support of the GCC Carbon Management Plan, and decarbonisation of the City as per the Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy and Glasgow Climate Plan. The post holder will demonstrate experience of successful delivery of complex energy, renewable and emission reduction projects. A degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline or demonstrable relevant professional experience is essential.
