Job Description The opportunity to deliver a key role within Glasgow City Council’s Property and Consulting Sevices department. The post holder will provide project management services for the delivery of projects for various Glasgow City Council services. The role includes coordination of information and liaising with design teams and stakeholders. The role includes preparation of Project Management and governance related documentation as detailed within GCC’s Project Management Toolkit and managing the process outlined therein to meet GCC Governance and client reporting requirements, liaising with multi disciplinary design teams in delivery of major capital projects or smaller projects in accordance with RIBA plan of work, including GCC staff and external consultants, administer various forms of construction contract and procurement services including preparation of documentation and liaison with GCC’s Central Procurement Unit (CPU). The post holder will reporting to a Grade 8 Project Manager. Educated to a degree level in an appropriate construction discipline or an appropriate qualification in Project Management and 5 years relevant experience.
