Based within Neighbourhoods and Regeneration Services, the Project Officer will support a Principal Officer to deliver the Govan Heritage project. Govan Heritage is an area-based heritage renewal project which will be delivered over a five-year period from 2026. The Govan Heritage project will deliver conservation grade repairs to historic buildings in Govan through a third-party grant scheme.
The project will also deliver a programme of community heritage engagement activities and a traditional skills training programme. The post will support complementary project delivery within the Central Govan Action Plan and Govan Partick Strategic Development Framework action programmes.
Principal responsibilities will be focused on the completion and evaluation of the Govan Heritage project.
