An opportunity has arisen for the position of Assistant Catering Manager to work within the above location. Reporting to the Catering Manager, the main duties and responsibilities will include the delivery of a high standard of catering provision including the preparation and cooking of food. You will be self-motivated with an excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and will support the Catering Manager to ensure performance targets and objectives are achieved.
In addition, you will be responsible for assisting in the completion of relevant paperwork, Pecos ordering and will assist the Catering Manager in the ongoing training and supervision of staff in all aspects of catering and in line with current legislation. Successful applicants will have to work flexibly. The current operational system means that the most likely locations which you would be transferred to, would be within a reasonable geographical distance of your base location.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Scheme Membership.
