We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our busy HR Team, due to an internal team promotion, within Education Services. The role focuses on delivering a professional HR Service to both Managers and Heads of Establishment, primarily within the Employee Relations team.
You will provide expert technical advice, guidance and case management whilst ensuring effective interpretation and application of Council policies and procedures. You should be highly organised and have excellent administration skills, digital and data analysis skills with particular experience in using Microsoft Excel. You will also have experience working as part of a fast-paced team with a desire to create a positive working environment.
You will work directly to an HR Officer, whilst providing support and assistance across the team and to the Senior HR Officer on day-to-day operational matters and HR service improvement projects. You will be customer focused supporting our Heads of Establishment across the city and have excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to manage a range of conflicting priorities.
Experience of HR service delivery within a unionised environment is desirable, alongside a requirement for previous complex case management experience in a large scale, fast paced environment. Hybrid working is available in this role.
