A Divisional Valuer supports the work of the Principal Surveyor and provides management and supervision of a professional valuation team of qualified valuers and trainee valuers, ensuring efficient service delivery and the implementation of HR policies. Providing expert knowledge and testimony alongside subject matter expertise, they will help deliver operational targets, statutory compliance and the planned development of team members. You will also manage and deliver your own operational workload in addition to your management and development duties.

Our Team has an experienced team of RICS professionals. We are independent in all matters of valuation opinion but are still part of Scotland’s largest local authority. With around 28,000 non-domestic properties in our Valuation Roll totalling around £1BN in rateable value and 330,000 dwellings in our Council Tax Valuation List, we are also one of the largest Assessor offices in Scotland. Each team member is trusted to work under their own initiative and given responsibility for making their own valuation decisions. We maintain proportionate oversight, and support is always available at all levels of responsibility. We do expect high levels of professionalism and integrity, and we are passionate about public service and delivery based on mutual respect and consideration of others. We are proud to serve the great City of Glasgow, and if you share our passion and drive, then please consider applying for a role with us.
