Are you looking for a career in early learning and childcare? Do you have interests in supporting, caring and developing our young learners? We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Child Development Officers to join our supply list. We have opportunities for both temporary and permanent supply staff.
Child development officer supply posts are placed across the city based on service requirements. You will be provided with work consistently and after a qualifying period will be eligible to apply for internally advertised permanent positions within nursery establishments. You will be part of a team, providing the highest standard of education and care whilst actively supporting the delivery of an inclusive and diverse provision.

- HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7 (formerly Early Education and Childcare) or SVQ Level 3 Social Services Children and Young People at SCQF Level 7 or NNEB (or equivalent).
- Or equivalent qualification that meets the criteria for SSSC registration at Practitioner Level.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
