Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Catering Manager at the above location, where you will report to the Area Operations Manager.
The main duties and responsibilities will include the delivery of a high standard of catering provision within a large production kitchen and associated cluster units. In addition, you will be responsible for the training and supervision of the catering team in all aspects of catering and in line with current legislation.
You will be a forward-thinking individual, dedicated, highly motivated, innovative and will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, customer care and budgetary control, with a requirement to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
The successful applicant will be an integral part of the school with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers to promote new business, as well as ensuring performance targets are achieved.
A good understanding of IT systems and appropriate administrative experience would be advantageous.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check.
