We have a significant number of major high rise and complex developments within our city centre and beyond, often requiring fire engineered solutions, and we are extensively involved in licensing of safety at sports grounds, local festivals, major concerts and international events.

As part of Building Standards & Public Safety of Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability and reporting to a Team Manager, you will be responsible for providing professional support. You will contribute to the successful delivery of Council and service targets, objectives and national Performance Framework criteria, whilst monitoring personal workload and maintaining appropriate records to achieve appropriate performance indicators and timescales.

It is essential that you are a full Member of MRICS, MCIOB, MBENG or equivalent construction related professional institute.
