Report to designated Supervisor/Works Manager and work within a Supervisory Team with the ability to organise, coordinate, and supervise a range of generic frontline operational staff, in the delivery of services within Roads maintenance, winter maintenance, traffic management and other emergencies.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Ability to make best use of available resources and prioritise accordingly delivering best value.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers in a professional manner, demonstrating a particular focus on good “Customer Care”.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Health & Safety, Traffic Management and CDM regulations and guidance that govern statutory undertaking of works on the road network.
- To effectively monitor the performance of frontline operational staff and resolve violations in relation to quality and breaches of Service Level Agreements.
