Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf resort is just outside Glasgow in Cumbernauld and is a 4*, 148-bedroom property.

Our hotel has an 18-hole golf course, and the dining options include the Flemings restaurant, the Grill restaurant, and we offer afternoon tea as well as private dining and meetings and event spaces.

The leisure facilities include a gym, pool, sauna, steam room, tennis courts, and a relaxing Elemis spa.

This is an exciting time for the hotel as it has recently had some investment in the restaurant & lounge areas!

What will I do?

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Resort General Manager, a visionary leader who can inspire and influence a high performing team, bring our values to life and maximise sales & revenue to deliver outstanding results.

You will create unforgettable guest experiences and continue to take the Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort on its journey to becoming a destination of choice.

  • Passionate about continually driving top line performance.
  • Previous experience operating a large M&E, Golf, Leisure & Spa, or multifaceted hotel.
  • Proven track record in developing, rolling out and operating successful concepts.
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.
  • Create a culture focused on delivering the highest levels of customer scores and online reputation.
  • Have visibility within the property.
  • An ability to think for oneself whilst understanding the difference between autonomy and accountability.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with knowledge & understanding of all commercial and financial aspects of hotel operations.
  • Identify potential opportunities and challenges and devise strategies to deal effectively with both.
  • Highly passionate & driven about hospitality.
