Are you passionate about growing the game? Would you like to be involved in the continued development of our female players? This role may be for you. The Head Coach of Glasgow Warriors Women will lead the team’s high-performance programme in the Celtic Challenge competition, driving its continued development and readiness for future growth in the women’s game. Working autonomously but in alignment with the national performance framework and playing philosophy, the role will collaborate across academy and pathway environments to strengthen player and programme progression.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and deliver the Glasgow Warriors Women high-performance programme throughout the Celtic Challenge.
- Shape and drive the continued development of the women’s programme, supporting its long‑term growth and success.
- Prepare the programme for future expansion and the demands of an enhanced domestic competition structure.
- Operate with autonomy while ensuring full alignment with the national performance framework and playing philosophy.
- Work collaboratively across the wider player pathway, including Central and National Academy environments, to support progression and performance.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven coaching expertise within a high-performance sport environment, with the ability to lead and develop elite athletes and teams.
- Strong understanding of performance pathways, player development and competitive playing demands.
- Ability to operate strategically and independently, while aligning with wider organisational frameworks, philosophies and objectives.
- Excellent leadership and relationship‑building skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder groups.
- Experience of driving programme development and continuous improvement, ideally within women’s sport or a developing high-performance setting.
