The Vacancy
Are you a highly organised Performance Analyst with strong rugby knowledge and excellent video/data analysis skills, who can deliver consistent, high-quality insight to coaches and players across training and match-day, and who is motivated to innovate and continuously improve standards? If so, we want to hear from you.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver accurate, consistent analysis pre-, during and post-match, providing clear insight to the coaching team using video and data tools.
- Lead analysis support at training, capturing, coding and sharing key themes to drive performance improvement.
- Produce and present high-quality opposition analysis and tailored presentations for scheduled meetings.
- Manage and maintain analysis footage, platforms and equipment, while educating and supporting coaches/players and driving innovation in methods.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience working as a Performance Analyst within professional sport, delivering pre-, in-game and post-match support.
- Proven experience working effectively within a multi-disciplinary high-performance environment and building strong relationships with coaches and players.
- Strong rugby union knowledge (playing and/or refereeing experience advantageous) with the ability to translate game understanding into actionable insight.
- Advanced performance analysis & IT capability, including tools such as Hudl Sportscode/Studio, Tableau/Power BI, Excel, and video editing software (iMovie/Final Cut), plus the ability to maintain high standards under tight deadlines.
