Job Description
The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) is looking to make a number of temporary appointments to teach on Module 2 and Module 3 of the Pre‑sessional English for Creative Disciplines (PS ECD) Blended or Online, which aims to support international students in developing their English language and academic skills, including relevant processes and practices, necessary to engage with academic study in the fields of creative disciplines. Working within a small team, including EAP, studio and subject teachers, the postholders will deliver the programme to ensure it best prepares students for onward progression in all aspects of language, academic skills, studio and theoretical perspectives.
Induction and Wrap‑Up
There is a four‑day induction prior to the start of teaching to get to know the team, familiarise yourself with course materials, learning environments and technologies. There is an extra day after completing the course to allow for wrapping up the teaching, report‑writing and to give feedback. These are included in the contract.
Course Dates
To teach on the 10‑week course: 16 June – 31 Aug 2026
To teach on the 5‑week course: 21 July – 31 Aug 2026

Salary
£44,746 to £56,535 per annum (pro‑rata) (Grade 7)
