Support private medical practice.

  • Answer the calls ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Optimise the website.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary.
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries.
  • Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks, such as preparing medical reports and correspondence.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a medical secretary or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred but not required.
