At the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, we go beyond service — we create personalised, elevated experiences for our most valued guests. As an F&B Associate, you’ll play a flexible role within our Food & Beverage team, supporting a variety of outlets across the hotel, with a primary focus on our Executive Lounge. This is a part‑time role (20 hours over 4 working days), with evening shifts typically scheduled from 4:30pm – 10:00pm. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional hospitality to our Executive guests and Elite Marriott Bonvoy members, ensuring a seamless, comfortable, and memorable experience within the lounge, while also supporting other F&B areas as required.
What You’ll Do
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests, with a personalised approach for Executive and Elite members
- Deliver attentive food and beverage service throughout your shift
- Build rapport with guests, anticipating needs and ensuring a high‑quality experience
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming lounge and service areas
- Ensure food presentation and service standards are consistently high
- Communicate dietary requirements and guest preferences clearly to the kitchen
- Handle guest queries confidently and professionally
- Process payments where required using MICROS or similar POS systems
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and responsible service standards
- Support stock control, replenishment, and end‑of‑shift duties
- Work flexibly across other Food & Beverage outlets when required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
