About The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and proactive Front Desk Supervisor to support the Front Office Manager in leading our front desk team. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure seamless guest experiences, and coach your team to deliver warm, efficient, and knowledgeable service. You’ll play a key role in system accuracy, revenue opportunities, and team development — helping shape memorable stays for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the front desk team during daily shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Welcome guests with a genuine, professional greeting and ensure fond farewells
  • Oversee guest service operations in Opera, ensuring accuracy in check-ins, billing, and reservations
  • Coach, train, and support team members to meet Marriott brand standards, including new hire training and ongoing development
  • Proactively resolve guest queries and complaints with professionalism and care
  • Maximise hotel revenue through upselling, yield strategies, and close liaison with Reservations
  • Maintain security of cash, floats, keys, and guest property, following all cash handling and banking procedures
  • Ensure fire, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Promote hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
  • Manage handover processes and ensure effective communication across shifts
  • Maintain stock levels and front office supplies within set guidelines

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous hotel front desk/reception experience (Opera knowledge desirable)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A confident, professional, and approachable personality
  • Flexibility, reliability, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for customer service
  • Good level of English (essential)
