As a Food & Beverage Team Leader at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, you'll play a key role in delivering these experiences, leading by example and supporting your team to exceed guest expectations at every turn. Whether coordinating daily operations, coaching team members, or stepping in to serve guests directly, you'll be an energetic and dependable leader committed to creating a welcoming and seamless experience across our restaurant, bar, and in-room dining services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding service across all F&B outlets
- Support the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, and room service teams
- Coach, guide, and mentor team members to achieve service excellence
- Allocate and oversee daily tasks, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently
- Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and handle feedback or concerns professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and setup of guest and work areas throughout the shift
- Communicate special dietary requirements or allergies to kitchen and team
- Process transactions using MICROS or similar systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct supervisor-level responsibilities including shift handovers, daily reports, and cash handling
- Collaborate with management to support team training and performance
