Join Our Team at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel. We’re looking for enthusiastic and passionate Event Team Member to support our Banquet, Bar & Drinks Service to join our friendly Conference & Banqueting team. This casual, zero-hours role focuses on food, wine, and bar service for a wide variety of events — from conferences to weddings and gala dinners.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality food, wine, and bar service for conferences, banquets, and private functions.
  • Set up and maintain banquet bars, coffee breaks, and drinks stations according to event briefs.
  • Take orders, prepare beverages, and upsell menu items where appropriate.
  • Assist with wine service, including presenting, pouring, and advising guests where needed.
  • Set event spaces including tables, buffets, action stations, and service areas.
  • Communicate special requests, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen.
  • Deliver a high standard of service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous hospitality or events experience preferred, ideally with food and beverage service.
