Glasgow City Council Education Services are seeking suitably experienced and enthusiastic outdoor educators to join our Instructional Team. The Outdoor Education Service delivers a wide range of high-quality residential and non-residential learning experiences for Glasgow City Council schools. Alongside this, the service plays an important role in supporting the wider development of outdoor learning across the city.

As part of the team, you will help deliver a broad range of educational programmes and activities, both land- and water-based, working with a diverse range of groups and clients in residential and non-residential settings. Delivery locations include Blairvadach Residential Outdoor Education Centre near Helensburgh, as well as a variety of sites across Glasgow, including Pinkston Basin Watersports Centre.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks. These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
