To help us achieve that, we are looking for a Business Operations Officer – Sauchiehall Street Culture and Heritage District to join our Arts and Music team. What you need to know

  • Hours: 17.5 hours per week.
  • Contract type: Fixed Term until 31 December 2027
  • Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you’re applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis. The hourly rate is £16.98 per hour.
  • Location: Hybrid. You will spend part of your week at home, and part of your week in one of our offices.

What you’ll do

As a Business Operations Officer you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Senior Arts Manager – Sauchiehall Street Culture and Heritage District. You’ll play an essential role providing operational, business and administrative support to the Sauchiehall Street Culture and Heritage District team in the planning and delivery of the Proof-of-Concept Phase. The expanded team will be delivering the Proof of Concept phase of our National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Places programme. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:

  • Supporting our communities
  • Creating cultural experiences
  • Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen

Who you are

  • An appropriate level of qualification/training or employment experience in business and/or cultural events sector.
  • Ability to manage and deliver high quality work, to deadlines.
  • Experience of processing and monitoring budgets and related financial activity.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and work with a range of stakeholders, including partners, culture and heritage organisations and members of the public.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
