Overview

We are looking for a part time receptionist for 16 hours a week to join our small, friendly practice in Drumchapel Health Centre. Our team consists of 2 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 HCA and 2 receptionists and 1 practice administrator. You will be working as part of the administration team.

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls
  • Signposting to appropriate services
  • Greeting and assisting patients
  • Processing prescription requests
  • Receiving/sorting/work flowing mail
  • All other associated administration tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • Medical reception experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided to the suitable candidate

Benefits and Conditions

  • SPPA pension
  • 20 days of annual leave pro-rata, plus an additional 10 days for public holidays
  • Hourly rate £13.00, increased after probationary period is complete
