Overview
We are looking for a part time receptionist for 16 hours a week to join our small, friendly practice in Drumchapel Health Centre. Our team consists of 2 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 HCA and 2 receptionists and 1 practice administrator. You will be working as part of the administration team.
Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls
- Signposting to appropriate services
- Greeting and assisting patients
- Processing prescription requests
- Receiving/sorting/work flowing mail
- All other associated administration tasks
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent communication skills are required
- Medical reception experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided to the suitable candidate
Benefits and Conditions
- SPPA pension
- 20 days of annual leave pro-rata, plus an additional 10 days for public holidays
- Hourly rate £13.00, increased after probationary period is complete
