An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Practice Manager in our busy Training Practice based on the south side of Glasgow. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to assist the Practice Manager in managing the day to day running of our Practice which has a list size of 5150 patients.
We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication and leadership qualities, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in their work. Previous management and supervisory experience would be an advantage to work with and develop our administrative team. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a high level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook). Although previous experience working in General Practice is desirable, it is not essential if the candidate has the necessary skillset and experience.
The role will be offered on a permanent basis split over 4 to 4.5 days. Hours and days worked are negotiable. Salary negotiable depending upon experience with additional benefits including access to NHS Pension Scheme.
