Job Description
Are you passionate about Gymnastics and looking to join an established coaching team providing lessons in Glasgow?
If so, Glasgow Life is looking for UKCC level 1 (or equivalent) Gymnastics Coaches who are qualified in either General or Artistic gymnastics to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. We are offering flexible weeknight and evening contracts within our 2 purpose built gymnastics academies – Palace of Art and Kelvin Hall. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering fun and exciting lessons to our customers who range from Pre-School to Adults.
Our positions cover City-wide meaning you could work in any of our venues delivering Gymnastics Lessons; examples of our current vacancies include:
Tuesday 3:45 – 8pm Palace of Art
Wednesday 3:45 – 8pm Palace of Art/Kelvin Hall
Thursday 3:45 – 8pm Palace of Art
Friday 3:45 – 8pm Kelvin Hall
Sunday 12 – 4:30pm Kelvin Hall
These positions offer a great range of flexibility for candidates to balance coaching gymnastics alongside studies or other commitments candidate may have.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £25,346.03 to £26,895.74 (pro-rata) per year which equates to approx. £13.89 to £14.74 per hour.

The Role
As a Gymnastics Coach, you\’ll be an integral part of the team by delivering gymnastics sessions within our Glasgow Life Sport Gymnastics Programme. Reporting to Sports Participation Officer and working alongside an established team.
The Candidate
If you\’re interested in joining us as a Gymnastics Coach you\’ll need:
UKCC level 1 (or equivalent) qualified in either General or Artistic Gymnastics
Experience and knowledge of gymnastics coaching
Good communication skills
To work during our busy periods which are in evenings and weekend.

Our city-wide contracts mean you will be flexible to work in any of our locations. We currently operate in Kelvin Hall and Palace of Art Monday through to Sunday.
All our venues have great links to public transport and either free parking or parking nearby.
