Glasgow Life is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join us on a full time, permanent basis. You will be part of a dedicated team HR team which supports our colleagues, working across sport and physical activity, libraries, museums, arts, music, world-class events and our corporate teams. The reach of our HR team makes a real and positive impact on the lives of the people of Glasgow and creates unforgettable experiences for our visitors.
As Senior HR Business Partner you’ll play a critical role in delivering Glasgow Life’s people strategy by supporting and influencing managers through your team to embed great people practice and solutions. You’ll continually drive improvements by leading on key HR and business-related projects and will play a lead role in delivering and supporting change. By developing a detailed understanding of Glasgow Life, you’ll support the Head of HR to provide strategic HR leadership across the charity. You will play a key role in driving a high-performance culture.
As Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll be an integral part of our team. Reporting to Head of HR, you’ll be a leader and a customer focused HR professional with experience in a similar role within a diverse, complex, multi-disciplinary organisation providing expert advice and guidance. Your communication skills will be second to none, allowing you to build effective relationships with managers, trade unions and colleagues, gaining credibility, respect and confidence. You’ll be resilient and used to dealing with a busy workload in a pressurised environment and will have well developed organisation and prioritisation skills. You’ll be someone who relishes challenge and enjoys developing effective solutions with your team whilst utilising your detailed knowledge and understanding of great HR practice.
