What you need to know
Hours : 28 hours per week, to be worked across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Contract type: Permanent
Pay details: The listed salary banding is for a full-time role. If you\’re applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis.
Location: Hybrid. You will spend part of your week at home, and part of your week in at least one of our offices or venues. Your base will be Commonwealth House, 38 Albion Street, Glasgow G1 1LH.
What you\’ll do
As an HR Business Partner, you\’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner. You\’ll play an essential role in providing comprehensive HR support to a specified service area(s), focussing on partnering the management teams to deliver their service plans, with a strong focus on people priorities, workforce planning and change and key HR / business projects.
Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This will include working with teams who:

We\’re looking for someone who has:
- Significant HR experience in a large, complex, multi-disciplinary, unionised organisation.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Proven ability to develop practical, flexible HR solutions to meet customer and organisational needs.
- Proven experience of delivering HR / business projects and workforce planning
- Strong relationship-building skills, with ability to gain credibility and trust from managers, trade union/employee representatives and staff.
- A degree in related subject or equivalent relevant experience.
