To help us achieve that, we are looking for Gallery Assistants to join our Museums team. Our teams focus on making a real difference through culture and sport in Glasgow. What you need to know
- Hours: 13.5 per week. 8 posts, a rotating schedule of every other weekend and 2 weekdays
- Hours: 13 per week. 1 post. Every weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
- Hours: 35 per week. 1 post. Full‑time post, 5 days over 7, working every other weekend.
- Contract type: Permanent
- Pay details: The listed salary is for a full‑time role. If you’re applying for a part‑time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro‑rata basis. The hourly rate is £14.37 per hour.
- Location: City‑wide, with your main base discussed at interview.
What you’ll do
As a Gallery Assistant, you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Assistant Museum Manager. You’ll play an essential role in welcoming visitors to the Museums, delivering excellent customer service. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:

- Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen
