To help us achieve that, we are looking for Glasgow Life Activity Assistants to join our Sports Operations team. Our teams focus on making a real difference through culture and sport in Glasgow. What you need to know
- Who can apply: Anyone
- Hours: 20 hours per week (2 posts); 19 hours per week (1 post); 17 hours per week (1 post); 16 hours per week (1 post). All working a 3-week rota that includes evenings and weekends.
- Supply position (1 post).
- Contract type: Permanent, Staff Bank (work on an as‑needed basis, ideal if you need flexibility)
- Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you’re applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro‑rata basis. The hourly rate is £14.37 per hour.

What you’ll do
As a Glasgow Life Activity Assistant, you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the duty manager. You’ll play an essential role in maintaining the venue to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. With a strong focus on safety and customer service, you will assist customers in the safe and effective use of the facilities and promote the wide range of services on offer through excellent product knowledge. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:

- A Playful and fun personality to ensure our visitors have a great day out.
- Comfortable working at heights (there will be a practical element/ challenge at interview to test your comfort levels on the clip n climb wall!)
