What you need to know
- Hours: 13.5 per week. 8 posts, a rotating schedule of every other weekend and 2 weekdays
- Hours: 13 per week. 1 post. Every weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
- Hours: 35 per week. 1 post. Full-time post, 5 days over 7, working every other weekend.
- Contract type: Permanent
- Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If youâre applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis. The hourly rate is ÂŁ14.37 per hour.
- Location: City-wide, with your main base discussed at interview.
What youâll do
As a Gallery Assistant, youâll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Assistant Museum Manager. Youâll play an essential role in welcoming visitors to the Museums, delivering excellent customer service. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:
- Supporting our communities
- Helping people get active
- Creating cultural experiences
- Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen
Who you are

- Experience working as front of house staff
