Glasgow Life is looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to join us on 35 hours, full time, permanent contract. As Assistant Venue Manager you will be joining our in-demand Cultural Venues team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports Cultural Venues Operations.

The role
As an Assistant Venue Manager you’ll be an integral part of the team by contributing to the successful operational management of our venues. Reporting to the Venue Manager you will be working alongside an established team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as aa Assistant Venue Manager you’ll need:
• Experience in a venue management related position
• Experience of supervising the work of a team, allocating staff as appropriate and monitoring results
• Experience of events management including duty management, planning for events, and managing health and safety
• Good communication, customer service and influencing skills

Our city-wide contracts mean you will be flexible to work in any of our locations.
This role involves working flexible shifts including evenings and weekends to meet the demands of the service.
