What you need to know
Hours: 35 per week.
Contract type: Fixed Term until 6th October 2027
Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you\’re applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis. The hourly rate is £16.98 per hour.
Location: City-wide, with your main base discussed at interview.
What you will do
As an Adult Learning Tutor, you\’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Libraries and Communities Co-ordinator (Inclusion). You\’ll play an essential role delivering and developing digital inclusion learning opportunities, especially focusing on targeted delivery in Glasgow\’s 10 booster ward areas. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:
- Supporting our communities
- Helping people get active
- Creating cultural experiences
- Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen

We\’re looking for:
Tutor qualification or equivalent experience in adult learning delivery
ICDL qualification or equivalent
Experience of engaging and supporting hard-to-reach or marginalised groups in a learning or community setting.
Experience planning and developing engaging digital skills training
Strong communication skills with an ability to motivate and support learners
A positive, flexible and proactive approach to your work
