As a Conference and Events Sales Executive for the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, we are looking for a positive can-do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Dealing directly with our guest enquiries, questions and reservations; warmly answering calls and emails, providing the highest standard of customer service at all times, you’ll also carry out correspondence quality checks.
- Contributing fully to the team’s targets to ensure sales forecasts are achieved, upselling the hotel bedrooms, our restaurants and variety of activities.
- Utilising our Property Management Systems to achieve the highest possible output and results.
- Liaising with your colleagues in the teams throughout the hotel to ensure fantastic teamwork, smooth communication and a superior service for our guests.
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations.
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
- Manage an events schedule to maximise yield.
- Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach.
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs.
- Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds.
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events.
- Participate in hotel promotional activities.
