Glasgow Clyde College has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the Estates, Facilities and Energy department. This is a varied position which offers the chance to use your skills within a varied and rewarding environment, supporting the College's students, staff and communities across our campuses while benefiting from a strong work-life balance and excellent employment benefits. Responsibilities: Working within a busy facilities team, the post-holder will provide a professional service across all campuses, installing, maintaining and testing the College's electrical services. You will provide proactive advice and technical support on maintenance regimes for these services and undertake project work. The role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across a diverse estate, contributing directly to the safe and effective operation of the College's learning environments. Requirements: The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician who has completed a recognised apprenticeship with industry experience. You will have excellent knowledge of health and safety practices as well as knowledge and professional skills associated with latest edition of IEE Wiring Regulations. Strong communication skills, good teamwork and a flexible approach to work are essential. Applicants must hold a valid Electrician's Grading Card and will be required to bring this to interview for verification purposes. A full UK driving licence is also required. Why Join Us?
