Glasgow Clyde College is seeking an experienced Manager to work closely with the Head of Estates in leading the Facilities teams across our three campuses in Glasgow.
Main Responsibilities
- The role will oversee all Estates related services including planned maintenance programmes, compliance with regulations and taking a leadership role on projects and capital works.
- Internal relationship building across the College, negotiating with external vendors and contractors is also part of the role.
Requirements
- Proven experience of successfully leading a facilities team is essential.
- You will hold an SCQF Level 8 degree or qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a related field and professional membership of a recognised institution will be required.
- You will require excellent communication, organisational and project management skills and the ability to be flexible in your approach to meeting the needs of customers.
- Working knowledge of Building Management Systems and Microsoft packages is required.
- The role involves cross campus travel therefore a valid UK driving licence is essential.
