We’re looking for a proactive, tech-savvy individual to join our ICT team as a 1st Line ICT Desktop Support Specialist. This is your chance to be the go-to person for solving tech challenges, supporting staff and students, and keeping our digital infrastructure running smoothly across college campuses.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be the first point of contact for ICT support - via phone, Email, MS Teams and in person.
- Install and maintain ICT, printing, and AV equipment.
- Log and manage support requests using our ITIL-based Service Desk.
- Troubleshoot issues, escalate when needed, and keep users informed.
- Assist with password resets, office moves, and equipment setups.
- Monitor antivirus and backup reports, and take action where needed.
- Maintain asset registers and support software/hardware availability.
- Help manage deliveries and purchase orders.
What You’ll Bring
- HNC (SCQF Level 7) in a technical IT-related subject or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of desktop operating systems and Office applications.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- A knack for problem-solving and working as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel between campuses when needed.
