We’re seeking staff who are motivated to tackle the problemof homelessness, with the skills to create a welcomingenvironment for people with complex needs.

The Glasgow Overnight Welcome Centre anticipates receivinghundreds of guests seeking refuge and a warm, safe place tosleep. We’re looking for people with great interpersonal skillswho can build healthy relationships with guests who are currentlyin temporary accommodation or coming through the OvernightWelcome Centre.

About the role

Helping a tenancy become a home

We are seeking to appoint a team of Housing Settlement Officerswho will support guests accessing the Overnight Welcome Centreand help people move on from temporary accommodation.

You will support people as they settle into a new tenancy,helping them turn that tenancy into a home and improving thelikelihood of long-term tenancy sustainment.

The longer-term aim is to help people end the cycle ofhomelessness and establish a more secure future.

The role requires the post-holder to be flexible, creative and solution-focused,with travel around Glasgow. It also includes one evening shift per week.
