Glasgow Life is seeking a PMO and Governance Manager to join our in-demand Events team on a 35-hour full-time, fixed-term contract until December 2028. This role involves supporting the delivery of Glasgow's commitments to the 2026 Commonwealth Games and UEFA EURO 2028. Our Events team is responsible for attracting and delivering major cultural and sporting events, including the Merchant City Festival, Glasgow Mela, World Pipe Band Championships, and upcoming events like the World Athletics Indoors Championships 2024 and the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships 2023. We aim to promote Glasgow as a premier event destination, maximizing economic, social, and marketing benefits for the city. Glasgow Life is a charity dedicated to enriching lives through culture and sport, creating memorable experiences that boost Glasgow's reputation and visitor economy. The city has been recognized as a European Capital of Sport and a UNESCO City of Music.

The role involves leading programme governance, risk management, and project oversight for Glasgow Life’s major events, reporting to the Senior Events Lead (Projects). The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, including Glasgow City Council, to ensure effective planning and delivery.
