The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The project co-ordinator will work alongside Developing the Young Workforce teams across Glasgow to help offer more young people, who are currently in school, opportunities to learn about jobs and careers by visiting workplaces across the region.

This position will directly support a project to help young people understand the world of work. You will help to co-ordinate the programme by working with businesses, project teams and schools to ensure the programme delivers all of its objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a calendar of activity and ensuring all arrangements have been made
  • Liaising with businesses, partners and stakeholders
  • Creating plans and reviewing workbooks for monitoring and evaluation
  • Accompanying young people on visits
  • Support the wider team at meetings
  • Deputising for the programme manager when required to represent the project
  • Any other activity required by your line manager

Reporting to: GROW Senior Programme Executive

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Base: Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, 30 George Square, Glasgow G2 1EQ (Hybrid)

Nature: Fixed term
