About SK

SK is a naturally outgoing lady who brings enthusiasm to everything she does. She enjoys nothing more than quality time with her friends and family, making memories that really matter. SK would like to become more active, with an interest in getting into cycling and starting the gym. She enjoys visiting Irvine throughout the year, especially spending time at the harbour and walking along the waterfront. No two days are the same for SK. She enjoys variety, such as browsing shops, catching a film at the cinema, or going out for gentle walks to stay active. SK enjoys attending local clubs throughout the week. She has a growing interest in photography and loves to capture the little details around her. SK also enjoys heading to the bingo and going on fun day trips.

The Role

  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Supporting SK to attend weekly clubs and activities
  • Accompanying her to medical appointments
  • Assisting with medication management
  • Supporting and guiding SK with aspects of her guide dog’s care (e.g. cleaning up after the dog, providing guidance when needed)

What SK is looking for?

  • Communicate clearly and listen thoughtfully
  • Enjoy a good laugh and positive interactions
  • Be confident and comfortable around dogs
  • Have experience or awareness of visual and hearing impairments (desirable)
  • Be comfortable working in a smoke‑free environment for health considerations

Hours and pay

The role is 18 hours per week to be worked over 3 days at the rate of ÂŁ13.60 per hour. The exact days will be discussed at interview.
