Support

I have quadriplegic cerebral palsy and require a personal assistant to support an active and independent lifestyle. The role includes:

  • Driving to and from activities, appointments and events.
  • Assisting with interview set‑up and ensuring all necessary items are ready while I am out.
  • Providing support with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and cleaning/laundry.

Hours and pay

This position is for 10.5 hours per week at £13.00 per hour, increasing to £13.60 per hour after successful completion of the probationary period. Suggested schedule (negotiable):

  • Tuesday: 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm
  • Thursday: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm – 10:30 pm
  • Saturday: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 9:30 pm – 10:30 pm
