Overview
Personal Assistant (PA) – Supporting Individual with Additional Needs. Location: Glasgow, West (G14). Hours: 10hrs per week. Gross hourly rate: £13.60. Start Date: ASAP following PVG scheme approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living tasks, which may include personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Supporting with appointments, outings, and activities in the community
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping to manage routines, communication, and confidence building
- Advocating for the individual’s choices and preferences at all times
About You
- Empathetic and respectful approach
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and a calm, supportive manner
- Experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential – full training can be provided
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Driving licence preferred as access to a car for outings and errands can be provided
Additional Information
This position is funded through a personal budget/direct payments, and you will be employed directly by the individual or their representative. You will be joining a small, supportive team (if applicable) and making a real difference in someone’s life.
