Overview

Personal Assistant Required. JK is a happy and inquisitive person who enjoys trying new things and is interested in the world around him. Support usually takes place in or near JK’s home in Cardonald, so being local or happy to commute is ideal. He is looking for support for around 12 hours per week with shifts agreed based on JK’s needs. The rate is £13.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany JK to social and leisure activities.
  • Go for walks and provide general support with daily activities, including support with the toilet when required.
  • Encourage JK to enjoy an active lifestyle and offer companionship and encouragement.
  • Support JK in a person‑centred way to help him continue to enjoy his passions and independence.

Qualifications

  • Kind, patient, with a good sense of humour.
  • Ability to support in a person‑centred way.
  • Experience is a bonus but not essential.
  • A clean driving licence and an interest in the outdoors are preferred, but not essential.
