Overview

Jay is a teenage boy who loves spending time outdoors watching planes and trains and is a keen music fan who would like to access a music class. He is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to help him fulfil his interests by encouraging him to get out into the community and to access local clubs and groups. The role is based in the G53 area of Glasgow and involves 12 hours per week at £13.60 per hour, with days and times to be discussed.

Responsibilities

  • Offer companionship and encouragement to help Jay continue to enjoy his passions and maintain independence.
  • Support Jay to live in a safe, clean, warm environment and assist with daily tasks as needed.
  • Encourage Jay to participate in activities and communities to enhance his skills and social coping methods.
  • Assist in accessing activities that align with Jay’s interests in trains, planes, and music.
