Overview
This is a full time/fixed term maternity cover opportunity for 12 months, from October 2025 to November 2026. Interviews for this role will take place week commencing 13 October 2025.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, advice and guidance on all stages of the Recruitment and Selection cycle.
- Advertise roles on various platforms and provide shortlisting documentation.
- Liaise with managers and candidates to arrange interviews.
- Administer and issue contracts to successful candidates.
- Ensure compliance with right to work requirements by checking documents in line with Home Office requirements.
- Conduct new start induction meetings and ensure pre-employment checks (qualifications and references) are completed as identified on each role profile.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational HR queries by managing the main People Services mailbox and escalating issues as required.
- Provide cross-team support to areas such as resourcing, casework and staff development as needed.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service experience, ideally from a demanding high-paced administrative role.
- Ability to interpret policies and processes related to recruitment, right to work and compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), online platforms (e.g., Teams) and databases.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and maintain high attention to detail.
- Interest in progressing a career in an HR department.
