Overview
Glasgow Caledonian University invites a part‑time Student Funding Wellbeing Advisor to join the Student Funding Team within the Student Enquiries, Advice and Events department. The Adviser will work to ensure students have access to high‑quality support and advice related to financial wellbeing, money management and related wellbeing considerations.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and information on financial wellbeing, money management and available support resources to students.
- Promote funds and financial assistance, share money management tips, and communicate new initiatives or support available to students.
- Deliver workshops, pop‑ups and create social media content to support students’ financial wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the wider Student Support Teams and colleagues across GCU Schools and professional support areas to ensure a coordinated student experience.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience in delivering financial wellbeing advice or related guidance.
- Ability to exercise discretion and integrity when handling sensitive issues.
- Ability to work on own initiative and deliver creative solutions; marketing experience is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to network and build relationships.
