Position Overview
This is a full-time, fixed term opportunity (up to 12 months) with flexible working arrangements including job share. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational academic to deliver and develop teaching across our programmes. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules, supervising student projects, and contributing to curriculum development, including module design and enhancement.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching, including hybrid classroom delivery.
- Supervising student projects.
- Developing and improving curriculum and modules.
- Engaging in academic activities within the department.
Qualifications:
- PhD level or nearing completion in a relevant discipline, or a postgraduate degree with professional experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in a relevant computer science discipline.
- Experience teaching in higher education or industry training.
- Skill in communicating complex concepts to diverse student cohorts.
- Experience or clear interest in student supervision, curriculum development and teamwork.
