GAMH, commissioned by Glasgow Carers Partnership, seeks to appoint a Family Support Worker to provide inclusive and holistic support to unpaid Carers living within the North East of the city. The role focuses on working with unpaid Carers and Young Carers to deliver a range of practical and emotional supports that enable Carers to manage their caring responsibilities while maintaining their own health and wellbeing.
Job details:
- 35 hours per week, fixed term to 30 April 2027, with potential extension for an additional 1+1 years dependent on funding.
- Salary: £25,427 per annum.
The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly, including early morning, evening and weekend shifts. The post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An offer of work with Glasgow Association for Mental Health will be subject to the satisfactory outcome of this check.
