The Role: Glasgow 2026 is recruiting for two exciting Marketing Coordinator opportunities within our Marketing & Brand teams:
- Marketing Coordinator – Ticketing
- Marketing Coordinator – Festival & City Activation
Both roles will play an important part in helping audiences connect with Glasgow 2026, supporting campaigns that build excitement, drive engagement and bring the energy of the Games to communities across Glasgow, Scotland and the Commonwealth.
Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator – Ticketing role will focus on supporting integrated marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, audience engagement and fan experiences across the Games programme. Working closely with agencies, suppliers and internal teams, this role will help coordinate campaign delivery across brand, digital, advertising and promotional activity.
The Marketing Coordinator – Festival & City Activation role will focus on promoting the Glasgow 2026 Festival programme, Live Sites and wider city activation activity, helping bring the cultural heartbeat of the Games to life through community engagement, cultural showcases and public-facing experiences across the city.
Both opportunities will involve supporting campaign planning and delivery, coordinating creative assets and timelines, maintaining brand consistency and working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Creativity, organisation and strong communication skills will be key to success in these fast-paced and exciting roles.
Key Skills and Experience: We’re looking for someone who brings experience supporting marketing, advertising, communications or public engagement campaigns within a busy and fast-paced environment, alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities confidently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, particularly when working with agencies, suppliers, stakeholders and delivery partners across a range of projects and deadlines. Confidence using Microsoft Office, project management systems and digital asset platforms will help you succeed in this role, alongside an organised approach to campaign coordination, creative production and content management. Experience supporting major events, public-facing campaigns or cultural programmes would be beneficial, particularly where activity has involved print, video or digital communications. A strong eye for detail, awareness of inclusive communications and enthusiasm for maintaining brand standards will also help you make a positive impact within the team. Creativity, collaboration and a passion for community engagement will be key to helping bring the Glasgow 2026 Games experience to life.
