We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join our Technology and Broadcast Division, working within the Technology team at Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering the digital ecosystem that underpins the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Reporting to the Digital Programme Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery, integration and operational readiness of a range of core digital products and platforms that support spectators, athletes, volunteers, partners and Games-time operations.

You will work closely with internal Functional Areas, technology suppliers and delivery partners to plan, configure, integrate, test and launch multiple digital services, including the official Games website, mobile applications and Games Management Systems. These platforms support critical Games functions such as ticketing, volunteering, accreditation, sport scheduling, results, commercial engagement and operational incident management. This role combines digital project delivery, systems integration, supplier management and operational readiness within a high-pressure, fixed-deadline environment. You will help ensure that all digital services are reliable, secure, inclusive and user-centred, and fully operational ahead of and during the Games.

Job Summary: Working as part of a collaborative and fast-paced Technology team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery and integration of Glasgow 2026โ€™s core digital products. As Digital Project Manager, you will support the delivery of the official Games website and associated sub-sites, mobile applications for athletes and spectators, and the integration of multiple Games Management Systems that support volunteering, sport entries and qualification, competition scheduling, results, venue mapping and incident management.

You will also support the central management of the Common Codes database, helping to maintain governance, consistency and effective change management across interconnected systems. You will coordinate delivery across Marketing, Technology, Volunteering, Workforce and Commercial teams, aligning timelines, dependencies and readiness milestones. Working closely with external suppliers, you will help ensure clear briefs, well-managed delivery plans and robust reporting, maintaining roadmaps, milestones and risk registers to keep delivery on track against immovable Games-time deadlines.

In collaboration with the Organising Companyโ€™s Cybersecurity Advisor, you will support adherence to cyber security standards and GDPR requirements across digital delivery. You will contribute to testing strategies, user acceptance testing and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable, high-quality user experiences. The role will also involve supporting technical readiness activities, working with Technology teams to ensure appropriate infrastructure, hosting, resilience and content delivery strategies are in place. This includes supporting single sign-on, mobile optimisation and cross-platform integration initiatives.

As the Games approach, you will contribute to operational readiness through training, technical rehearsals, contingency planning and pre-launch readiness reporting. During the Games, you will perform an operational role within the Technology Operations Centre, supporting live digital services, incident response and issue resolution. As with all roles within the Organising Company, responsibilities will evolve as Glasgow 2026 moves through distinct phases of delivery.

Key Skills and Experience: This role is suited to someone with experience delivering large-scale or complex digital projects across planning, integration and delivery phases, who is confident managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. You will have experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments and a clear understanding of digital platforms, user experience principles, content management systems and API integrations.

You will bring strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, alongside experience in project governance, budget control and risk management. Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG, GDPR requirements and user-centred design practices, is essential for success in this role. Experience using digital dashboards, analytics tools or performance monitoring platforms is desirable, supporting data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

You will be user-centred in your approach, organised and decisive, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will work collaboratively across teams and suppliers, remain calm under pressure and be committed to delivering inclusive, accessible and equitable digital experiences for all Games audiences.
