The role of Corporate Receptionist involves being the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering a warm, professional, and efficient welcome experience.
- Managing administrative and operational support tasks.
- Providing a concierge service to all guests on arrival, including managing the visitors book, taking jackets, announcing them to their host, and providing drinks.
- Answering and directing phone calls in a helpful manner.
- Ensuring all meeting rooms are clean and tidy and ready for the next meeting.
- Taking receipt of and preparing catering as required.
- Operating AV equipment confidently, resolving routine issues, and following escalation procedures where necessary.
- Maintaining workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
- Taking and accurately relaying telephone messages for the team.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Sorting and distributing mail.
- Arranging couriers for the business.
- Maintaining stocks of supplies as needed.
